Broadcaster Info

The Peep Project would not be possible without the generous support of Canadian broadcasters and funding bodies.

CBC Newsworld is a national cable network in Canada. Peep Me has been commissioned for broadcast on their award-winning documentary series The Lens which is headed by Andrew Johnson. We worked with them on our last documentary – Spam: The Documentary, and he has been enthusiastic about Peep Me since its conception.

The Canadian Independent Film and Video Fund was a Canadian Federal funding body that supports documentary production for the non-theatrical (i.e. educational) market. It was a very important funding source for filmmakers in this country until our short-sighted prime minister Stephen Harper, sought to cut it. Boo!

Canal D is a French Canadian broadcaster that specializes in factual entertainment and they’ve also been great supporters of our work. Plus, we get to practice our French with them. Bon!

Rogers Documentary Top-Up fund is a granting organization that helps documentary productions in Canada, and the Canadian Television Fund is a non-profit corporation funded by contributions from the Government of Canada and the Canadian Cable and direct-to-home satellite industries.

And let’s not forget all those great tax credits we get from the Ontario and Canadian government. Tax payers, we salute you!
