What do you get when you cross Post-Secret with Oprah? You get Truu Confessions, an all anonymous peep site aimed at women only. It’s got categories like office, dating, bride, body, etc. because, apparently, that’s all women care about. it’s a one stop shopping knock off obviously inspired by sites like Dove’s Real Beauty site, and Kleenex’s Let It Out Campaign. My favorite thing about it is how cheerily cheesy it is. “Go ahead, join the momversation!” “Vibrators! We tell you our stories, you tell us yours!”
Here’s a sample post:
“I wish he would get tested for STDs. I asked him to in the very beginning and I did so myself (for the first time) along with going BACK to the gyno for birth control. It was both of our choice to have sex without him having been tested, but I still wanted him to go and we’ve been together seven months now. I know he hasn’t seen any doctors for a decade but this one is important. Why do I have to trust my health in the sexual history of his girlfriend from eight years ago? It’s been easier to give up on him than keep reminding him and getting hurt each time he doesn’t follow through.”
